Abstract

This research used field trip method which was done two cycles that each cycle by four steps, such as: {1} action plan; (2) action; (3) action observation; and (4) reflection action. Subject of research was the students of X-5 of SMA Negeri 1 Kadipaten Majalengka Regency School Year 2017/2018 included 33 students, such as 15 sons and 18 girls. This research was done by collaboration of the Indonesian teachers. The way of collecting data by observation, evaluation or tes, documentation, and interview. Based on the analysis of research resume that action hipotesis said “if field trip method was used in studying Indonesian language and literature, the studying activity in X-5 SMA Negeri 1 Kadipaten would increase”, could be accepted. Besides improving of studying activity, field trip method could iimprove student’s achievement..
