Abstract
This paper was inspired of lately student interest in literature learning. Even though, literature was become important in Kurikulum 2013. The backround is the less of evaluation toolvespecially about reading competence. At Hikayat Text learning, student has been difficult to know the meaning of moral values in Hikayat Text. This problem was become student’s reason to motivateless. So, teacher need to found alternative learning model to complete these problem. One of the learning model is boardgame “Merpati Mas and Perak”. This boardgame are interactive games which played after read a Hikayat text. Then, they would be challenged by this boardgame which related and containing of moral values in the Hikayat text. In fact, student has increased their motivated to this model of teaching.
