Abstract

Thinking is a skill that is very important for humans. Mathematics is a discipline of procedure for thinking and processing logic. Mathematics which is full of thinking activities can be a vehicle to improve the quality of Indonesian human resources, especially in building their thinking skills. This article focuses on discussing the urgency of mathematical thinking skills, as well as the efforts that can be made in learning mathematics so that the capacity of students' mathematical thinking skills can develop optimally.
