Abstract
This study aims to examine education during the Covid 19 pandemic through learning the serving by touch of heart method. This method is a method that is based on 2 theories, namely imitation learning theory (Baruda's modeling) and Vygotsky's theory of social interaction learning. In this research, the approach used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative. A qualitative approach is used to describe how learning in education should work ideally even during a pandemic. The quantitative approach, namely t-test for non-independent samples and statistical tests with different t-test with related samples for differences after serving by touch of heart treatment method through test results, while hypothesis testing on signs is carried out to test motivation, student learning through surveys. The conclusion of this experimental research is that learning using the serving by touch of heart method can improve the learning ability of students during the Covid 19 pandemic. It was found that the null hypothesis was rejected and accepted the alternative hypothesis, which stated that the two groups were significantly different. This shows that the method has a level of effectiveness to improve the learning abilities of students. Meanwhile, based on the hypothesis testing on the sign, the results show that the use of the serving by touch of heart method can increase the learning motivation of students during education during the Covid 19 pandemic.
