Abstract
Changes in learning from face to face to online cause students to experience a decrease in learning outcomes. The decline in learning outcomes is due to various factors, one of which is that students feel bored and in online learning. Efforts are needed to improve student learning outcomes through interesting and fun learning, one of which is the team games tournament learning method. The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of the team games tournament during mathematics online learning can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri Jagalan. This research uses classroom action research which consists of two learning cycles. Data collection techniques were collected by means of observation, tests and field notes. The results were analyzed descriptively qualitative quantitative. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in the second cycle in online learning with the team games tournament learning method from a class average of 70.5 to 81.5. The obstacles experienced during online learning using the team games tournament method were 1) students were not able to cooperate online; 2) the attention of students during guidance with the teacher is still lacking; 3) the students were not confident when they took the quiz
