RELATIONSHIP OF BASIC KNOWLEDGE AND MOTIVATION WITH THE RESULTS OF TRAINING PARTICIPANTS COMPETENCY TEST AT BALAI DIKLAT INDUSTRI PADANG

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of basic knowledge and motivation of participants in following the
training of 3 in 1 embroidery head pins at the Padang Industrial Training Center. The goal is to see an overview of basic knowledge possessed by training participants, see a picture of motivation and to see the relationship between basic knowledge and motivation following training with the results of competency tests of participants in training 3 in 1 at Balai Diklat Industri Padang. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational approach. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. As for data analysis techniques used percentage formulas and product moment formulas. The results of this study showed that a) the basic knowledge of participants training 3 in 1 embroidery head pin is still very low; b) motivation to follow the training participants training 3 in 1 embroidery head pins are still low; and c) there is a significant relationship between basic knowledge and motivation following training with the results of competency test participants.
