With coding and categorization of respondents' answers, it was found that violations such as smoking, escaping, being late for school, absenteeism, and illegal goods were still common despite the strict rules. The factor that plays a role comes from student self-control manifested in poor motivation and perception of these rules. In addition, it also needs to pay attention to implementing student discipline, especially in the involvement of all elements of the school, including students, in formulating rules. It is also essential to pay attention to the implementation of the rule consistently. The existence of a gap between expectations and the reality of its implementation needs further evaluation.
