Abstract
Silsilah Quranuna (SQ) is a method compiled from the basics for reading, memorizing, and understanding AlQur’an with numerical and language approaches based on the rules of tajwid, language, and mathematics.
Silsilah Quranuna method has been used in several Islamic Boarding Schools or institutions, one of which is at
Ibadurrahman Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the
Silsilah Quranuna method of memorizing Al-Qur’an with numerical and language approaches towards the
systematic thinking ability of seventh-grade students at the Ibadurrahman Islamic Boarding School,
Tasikmalaya. The research used a mixed-method (quantitative and qualitative) using questionnaires and
interviews. Research questionnaires are close-ended questions to collect useful information from respondents.
While the informant interviews are gathering deep insight about additional information. The research sample
was seventh-grade students ,with a number of 84 people. Analysis of questionnaire data used SmartPLS 3
software using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis. The results showed that the Silsilah Quranuna
method with a numerical approach had a direct effect of 37.4% on the student's systematic thinking ability. On
the other hand, the Silsilah Quranuna method with a language approach had a direct effect of 44.3%. In
general, the Silsilah Quranuna method had an effect of 53.9% on the student's systematic thinking ability.
